Kaleidoscope, Netflix’s next heist drama series, stars acclaimed actor Rufus Sewell as Roger Salas. Salas is a strangely interesting person, supposedly related to the main character, Giancarlo Esposito. One of the show’s most important components is its narrative arc. Rufus Sewell is a popular actor who has starred in a number of popular and critically acclaimed films and series over the years, including Beauty and the Beast, The Man in the Long radio station and many other movies. Rufus Sewell was born in Hammersmith, London on October 29, 1967. Sewell’s father died when Sewell was 10 years old. He clearly had an early interest in acting. He attended Trafalgar Middle School and was a member of the theater club. Rufus also attended the Central School of Speech and Drama before deciding to pursue a career in show business. He became famous for his role as Tim in Michael Winner’s 1991 film Dirty Weekend, for which he received widespread acclaim from fans and critics alike.
Rufus Sewell went on to star in many films during the 1990s, including Dark City, Cold Comfort Ranch, Vacation, and many more. Sewell’s major television acting credits include, to name a few, John Adams, Helen of Troy, and The Eleventh Hour. Rufus Sewell’s character in Netflix’s upcoming Kaleidoscope series is extremely attractive. Salas’ identity is important to the story and it will be interesting to watch his character develop throughout the episode.
Giancarlo Esposito said in an interview with TVLine:
“Roger Salas is closely associated with Leo and Ray Vernon. In the end, it will be fulfilling because once again the interaction between these two people will reveal who Roger is and why he has become the way he is.”
