Ruchismita Guru, nicknamed Ruchu and known by her stage name Cerelac, was born on 2 June in Sonepur (Subarnapur) district of Odisha. His zodiac sign is Gemini. She lived with her family at Talpalipada in Bolangir city. He completed his schooling from DAV Public School and RIHS (Regional Institute of Higher Secondary School) in Puri, Odisha. He pursued his graduation from SCS(A) College, Puri, Odisha from 2014-2017.

Death
On March 26, 2023, Ruchismita Guru, an aspiring singer-actress from Odisha, was found dead at her uncle’s house in Sudapara, Balangir district of Orissa. His body was found hanging from the fan. According to her father, she often struggled with depression when she did not get work opportunities. The police report states that her mother said that she had a heated argument with Ruchismita over making Aloo Paratha.
“I asked her to cook aloo paratha at 8 pm, but she said she will prepare it at 10 pm. We had a fight on this issue. He had attempted suicide on several occasions before,” said the deceased’s mother.
It is alleged that Ruchismita had strained relations with her family due to her romantic relationship. Furthermore, her mother revealed that the actress had attempted suicide earlier too. Bolangir city police station was informed and a team was sent to the spot from where they recovered the body. The body was sent to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
