Rubal Dhankar was born on Thursday, 6 August 1987 (age 33 years; as in 2020) in New Delhi, India, whereas his roots are from Faizpur Ninana in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh. Leo is his zodiac sign. Growing up in Delhi, he did his schooling from the Govt Boys Senior Secondary School No 2, Narela, Delhi, and thereafter attained a B.Com degree from the Delhi University. In 2010, he got recruited as a constable in Delhi Police.

He is married to Deepa Dhankar, who runs a gym in Narela, Delhi.

Career

In 2010, he cracked the Delhi Police exams and got recruited as a Constable in Delhi Police.

But he didn’t stop there. In the desire to achieve something bigger, to make a name for himself, and to reform the image of Indian Police in the public’s eyes, he auditioned for the Roadies X4 in 2016. His confidence and umpteen strength impressed the judges, and he was selected as a participant in the show.

He emerged as a strong contender and went ahead to reach the semi-finals; however, he was eliminated in the semi-finals. After getting evicted from Roadies, he started a YouTube channel by his name, where he started uploading fitness-training, body-building, and motivational videos. In a short time, he became a poster boy for fitness among the youth of India.

Facts/Trivia

He followed in his father’s footsteps who himself was a bodybuilder and started bodybuilding at a very young age. His father always inculcated the idea in him that fitness comes before anything else in life.

A number of people from Rubal Dhankar’s family & relatives have served and are serving in the Indian Army and police. His grandfather fought in the 1971 Indo-China war.

In 2009, a week prior to his physical test for recruitment in Delhi Police, Rubal unwent a surgery that ended up in his partial facial paralysis. Unfortunately, that year he failed to pass the physical test; however, he didn’t give up hope and cleared the test next year.

In 2016, Rubal became the first person from the Delhi Police Department to clear Roadies auditions.

After grabbing public attention in Roadies, Rubal Dhankar was offered to act in many TV serials and South Indian films, but he turned them down as he doesn’t consider himself as a decent actor.
