A royal expert talks about Princess Catherine (aka Kate Middleton)’s relationship with her sister-in-law Meghan Markle.
In case you forgot, the Duchess of Sussex and her husband, Prince Harry, have been estranged from certain members of the royal family for quite some time now. Reports suggest that relations may have worsened after the publication of the Prince’s memoirs. Replacement this year.
Recently, Omid Scobie, author of the new book game over, revealed where Prince Harry is with his father, King Charles, and brother, Prince William. One relationship was described as irreparable.
In a new interview, she sheds light on how Princess Catherine feels about distant royalty. Interestingly, she also seems to have mixed opinions.

Speaking to Page Six, Omid said the princess was “never a fan” of Meghan, claiming she “jokingly shakes” at mentioning the duchess.
“He spent more time talking about Meghan than he did talking to her,” she said a source informed her. She added that she was told that Princess Catherine “can be cold if she doesn’t like someone.”
Omid said there is “no turning back” for his relationship with Meghan and Prince Harry. It seems worse for the first ones.
He reported that they had “almost zero direct communication, except for some brief banter” since late 2019.
How are things different with Prince Harry?
“She was close to Harry and will always fondly remember those moments… and the relationship he had with her children,” Omid wrote in her book, attributing the words to an anonymous source. “But for her there is no way she can trust them after all the interviews of hers.”
The author and expert also shared some insights into Meghan’s position on her future as a royal.
