sexual abuse case
On 20 December 2023, Robin Jindal sparked controversy when an FIR was filed against him for allegedly raping a woman on the pretext of marriage. The case was registered at the MIG police station in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, based on a complaint by a 35-year-old woman, who claimed to be Jindal’s live-in partner. According to her, Jindal had initially promised to marry her, but he backed out after they had a physical relationship. Talking about the case in an interview, investigating officer Sachin Arya said,
A woman has filed a complaint against Robin Aggarwal accusing him of sexual harassment. Both lived in the same area and gradually became friends. Later, he promised to marry her.
