Rick Genest’s date of birth is August 7, 1985 and his birthplace is Châteauguay, Quebec, Canada. Genest is a native of Canada and of indigenous Canadian ethnicity. Rick Genest’s death took place on August 1, 2018, exactly 6 days before his thirty-third birthday. His body was found after a fall from the fourth-floor balcony of his apartment in the Plateau-Mont-Royal district of Montreal. One of the police officers first told CBC that it was likely a suicide. But in October 2019, coroner Melissa Gagnon called Rick’s death involuntary.

Their examination determined that Rick died from head trauma after landing on the sidewalk. He also identified a high level of alcohol in his system with some amount of cannabis, without any “unequivocal” sign of suicidal intent. Unfortunately, Rick Genest was previously diagnosed with a brain tumor. Rick waited for surgery for 6 months while he considered his life and possible death, before undertaking the surgery with negligible difficulties.

Rick Genest rose to fame and even had several opportunities since he was considered a living skeleton. He has participated in numerous sideshows and freak shows as an illustrated guy. Before getting his facial tattoos done, he was first introduced to the public on November 13, 2006 in a blog post on Body Modification Ezine’s (BME) ModBlog. Then, they called him for an interview in March 2008, when his tattoos were almost finished. Rick was even present in the music video of Honey, the Polish pop singer. On January 19, 2021, the video for his song “Sabotage” came out. For the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con, Tonner Doll Company formed a limited version character similar to Genest, “Zombie Boy”.
