Hours after he sparked concerns by declaring he was “dying,” Richard Simmons spoke out about the statement.
In a Facebook post, Simmons claimed he was dying, but did not reveal what. “I have some news to tell you. Please, do not be sad. “I’m…dying,” Simmons said. “Oh, I can see her face now. The truth is that we are all dying. Every day we live we get closer to death.”
Richard Simmons then said, “Why am I telling you this? Because I want you to enjoy your life to the fullest every day,” Simmons continued. “Get up in the morning and look at the sky… count your blessings and enjoy.”
Going back to his original comment, Simmons clarified on X (formerly Twitter) that he is actually fine and not dying. “I’m sorry that many of you were upset by my message today,” she wrote. “Even the press has contacted me. “I’m not dying.”
Revealing the true meaning of the statement, Richard Simmons wrote: “It was a message about how we should take advantage of every day we have. “I’m sorry for this confusion.”

Simmons’ followers quickly took to the social media platform to cheer on the fitness guru. “Leave the man alone,” wrote one supporter. “They’ve been clowning around with Richard for over 40 years. For.”
Another supporter added: “We are all dying. If you don’t die today or tonight, you may die tomorrow. Death is the only thing we can hope for.”
Simmons has been out of the public eye since 2014.

Meanwhile, Richard Simmons already made headlines after his biopic was announced.
However, Simmons quickly dismissed the upcoming film and stated that he did not support it. “Don’t believe everything you read,” she said. “I no longer have a manager and I no longer have a publicist. “I just try to live a quiet life and be at peace.”
Pauly Shore will take on the role of Richard Simmons in the biopic titled The court jester. “I am very excited to share the life of Richard Simmons with the world,” Shore wrote in a statement. “We all need this biopic now more than ever.”
