The new husband of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice, Luis Ruelas, has been accused of gifting a fake Cartier bracelet to his stepdaughter, Gia Giudice. Thanks to his weird island video, Luis has not had the greatest of starts as a reality celeb. Even though Teresa isn’t ready for her love bubble to burst, Luis can come off as being quite phony.
The table-flipping Garden State diva has been a franchise staple since day one. Through the years, The Real Housewives of New Jersey icon has been questioned about her marriage with her now-ex-husband, Joe Giudice. After some time behind bars, and Joe’s deportation to Italy, the two called it quits. Teresa found love again while walking down the Jersey Shore, and adored everything about Luis, who has certainly gotten his fair share of criticism. Teresa’s new marriage has caused some issues between Teresa and Joe Gorga, which will be showcased in the upcoming season.
The Real Housewives Of New Jersey’s Luis Loves A Knockoff
Over the Christmas break, via their TikTok accounts, Gia and Milania Giudice began “humble bragging” about the luxury gift they had received from their new stepfather. Gia showed off the present, which was a new “Cartier” bracelet in the famous red box. Soon, fans called out Gia’s accessory, because they believed it was a knockoff. This happened right after @therealbadfashions pointed out that the sometimes dramatic RHONJ daughter’s bracelet was a poorly-made replica.
The authentic Juste Un Clou Bracelet in yellow gold sells for $4,750. It features a diamond situated on the nail head. Gia’s possibly fake bracelet was displayed in a red box that wasn’t quite the right color, and the Cartier name didn’t seem to be in the correct font.
The Real Housewives Of New Jersey’s Milania Also Showed Off Her Fake Haul
Gia wasn’t the only one of Teresa’s daughters to brag about her fake Cartier bracelet. In a quick TikTok video, Milania showed off many of her Christmas gifts, including the same bracelet, Versace glasses, and Air Jordan sneakers. The Cartier script was off-center, and didn’t seem bright enough. This appeared to indicate that it was a dupe. RHONJ viewers became annoyed by the fact that Gia and Milania were trying to pretend the items were genuine, noting that it is okay to buy knockoffs, as long as they aren’t passed off as the real thing.
This isn’t the first time that the Giudice household has been trashed for touting counterfeit designer brands. Teresa has been duping her fans for years by wearing faux designer clothing, including Gucci and Balenciaga knockoffs. The Montville native has even been shaded for promoting fake labels on her Instagram, and The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans are not impressed. It’s interesting that Luis’ alleged cheapness has riled up the show’s fans to this extent, as evidenced by the aforementioned comments.
