Ravishrinivasan Sai Kishore was born on Wednesday, 6 November 1996 (age 24 years; as in 2020) in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Their zodiac sign is Scorpio. Ravishrinivasan completed his schooling from Vyas Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai. He was a school topper and during this time he started playing cricket for the school team. Ravishrinivasan continued to perform well in the field and made his List A cricket debut for Tamil Nadu in 2016–17.

R Sai Kishore started playing cricket in school and was a part of the school team. After completing his school, R Sai Kishore joined an engineering college, but soon realized that he could not stick to the path he was following. He decided to leave college because during this time he was playing for the under-19 domestic team. Ravishrinivasan was playing for Tamil Nadu team and won both Vijay Hazare and Deodhar titles in 2016–17. His first-class debut came in 2017–18 and he has played in the Ranji Trophy several times. In the 2020 Indian Premier League, Ravishrinivasan Sai Kishore was bought by Chennai Super Kings for a base price of Rs. 2 million.

- In the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy, he became the leading wicket-taker in the series with 22 wickets in six matches.
- Ravishrinivasan left engineering college but was still eager to learn something new. Along with his cricket practice and matches, R Sai Kishore is pursuing an MBA in Analytics. His interest in analytics and data inspired him to move in this direction. This also helps them understand the statistics of every match to improve their performance.
- In 2019, R Sai Kishore attended the Chennai Super Kings cricket camp and practiced with the team. He bowled well to the players but MS Dhoni kept them on their feet with his batting.
