Soon after completing his college studies, he worked as a Technical Expert at United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. Later, he ventured into the Tamil cinema. He is the founder of the South Indian film production house named ‘Libra Productions.’

In 2013, he produced the film ‘Sutta Kadhai’ under his banner and the film was directed by Subbu. Thereafter, he produced several noted films such as Nalanum Nandhiniyum (2014), Kolai Nokku Paarvai (2014), Kalyanam (2017), and Murungakkai Chips under his production banner. In 2022, he started directing films under his own production house. His first film as a director was Markandeyanum Magalir Kalluurium.

In 2020, a popular south Indian actress Vanitha Vijayakumar got married to Peter Paul, and she attracted controversy soon after her marriage when Youtuber Suriya Devi and producer Ravindar Chandrasekaran started posting some comments against Vanitha on some social media platforms while demanding justice for Elizabeth Helen, the first wife of Peter Paul and her two children. This incident encouraged Vanitha to file a complaint against Suriya Devi and producer Ravindar Chandrasekaran for cyber bullying.
