Ravi Shankar Alok was born in the year 1986 in Patna, Bihar. To pursue a career in the film industry, he moved to Mumbai and lived with his elder brother in the Vasant-Seven Bungalows apartment in Versova, Andheri (West), Mumbai. His family and friends used to call him ‘Alok’. His family and friends used to call him ‘Alok’. He breathed his last at the age of just 32.

He started his career at the age of 18. Death
On 11 July 2018, his body was found lying in a pool of blood outside his apartment at Vasant-Seven Bungalows Apartment in Versova, Andheri (West), Mumbai, India at 2 pm. According to sources, he allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the roof of his seven-floor building. The body was first seen by the guard of the adjacent building and told that the roof of the building is usually closed and no one knows how Alok reached this area. Now the cause of his death depends on further investigation and autopsy report.
