Raven-Symoné slams internet trolls for sending ‘death threats’ to wife: ‘It’s disrespectful’

Raven-Symoné calls out internet trolls for shaming his wife. In a recent video, the actor said that the death threats must stop.

Raven-Symoné’s wife Miranda Pearman-Maday received backlash from the actor’s fans after admitting she hadn’t seen It’s so Raven. That snowballed into fans accusing Pearman-Maday of not knowing who Raven-Symoné was. In a TikTok, the two sat and sternly chatted with fans. They called out internet trolls for their bad behavior.

In the TikTok caption, Symoné wrote: “Please stop making death threats and losing information. [sic] about @miranda v.pm. It has grown into a completely disrespectful and out of control place. Haters will hate and of course they will boo. HOWEVER, do not spread lies or threaten my wife, my marriage, or her character. I chose her and all of her… Stop.”

“I’m here with Miranda, my wife, to tell you to stop the comments. And enough of the death threats in your direct messages,” said the actor. “It’s disrespectful to her and, in turn, it’s disrespectful to me.”

His wife then called the entire reaction “wild” and said she wanted to set the record straight. “I hope to clear the air right now and let everyone know that I never once said that I didn’t know who Raven was. I only ever said that I didn’t grow up watching It’s so Raven. I didn’t see her when she was a child,” she said.

“But since I got married and met her in 2015, I’ve seen most of her work. I have been involved in much of this work as well,” Pearman-Maday continued. “So I mean, backstage at The view, 25 words or less, The list goes on and on. Love It’s so Raven. I think she should have won all the Emmys. I think my wife has infinite talent. I support her beyond.”

However, the actor’s wife pointed out that she is not just an icon, she is a person. And Pearman-Maday knows the real person.

“To me, she’s not just Raven-Symoné either. You guys should try to open your minds a little and understand that there is more behind people who are celebrities,” she continued. “There is real life here. And that’s why we feel inclined to address this, because I’m getting a lot of hate for something that’s really just a big spiral of misinformation on the Internet.”

Raven-Symoné also added: “And for all the blue checks acting like trolls… sit down. Just thank you, it’s not necessary.”
