Ramya NSK lights her birthday candles every year on 6 October. He was born and brought up in Chennai. She attended AMM Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai and earned a degree in Visual Communication from Women’s Christian College, Chennai.
She is best known for the song ‘Sattru Munabu’ from the film ‘Neithane En Ponvasantham’ (2012), for which she won 3 awards in the category Best Playback Singer – Filmfare Awards 2013, Vijay Awards 2013 and Times Awards 2013 (Female).

She started her career as a music manager at Radio City (FM channel in Chennai), which she joined after completing her degree and worked there for 5 years. He started his playback singing career in 2006 with the Malayalam song ‘As We All Know’ from the film ‘Notebook’.
He has many songs in South Indian films like ‘Lucimbara’ (2008, film- Pandhayam), ‘Thule Dorasan’ (2009, film- Super Cowboy), ‘Anna Bond- Title Track’ (2012, film- Anna Bond), and lots more.
In 2012, her song ‘Saatru Munabu’ from the film ‘Neithane En Ponvasantham’ made her popular in the South Indian states.
In 2018, he entered the ‘Bigg Boss Tamil 2’ house as a contestant.
