Ramesh Valiyasala was born in 1967 (age 54 at the time of death) in Kerala. After completing his schooling in Kerala, he did his graduation from the Government Arts College, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

After completing his graduation, Ramesh started performing on the drama stage with his friends. He worked as an actor for about 22 years. He appeared in many Malayalam TV serials and films. At the time of his death he was shooting for a TV serial. In 2021, he was shooting for the Malayalam film ‘Varaal’ directed by South Indian director Kannan Thamarakkulam. He is the son of famous South Indian TV serial director Dr. S. He considered Janardan as his guru.
Death
On 11 September 2021, he was found hanging from the ceiling fan of the toilet of his residence in Valiyasalai, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala at around 6:30 am. Reportedly, he was in financial trouble due to the COVID-19 lockdown. His wife was the first person who saw him hanging. Local police while talking to journalists said,
It is an unnatural death and the reason behind his suicide is financial problems. He is running out of time and facing losses in his business due to COVID-19 or the pandemic. We sent his body to the mortuary of the Medical College Hospital. To confirm whether it is murder or suicide. He was living with his other family which includes his second wife and a son. The residence is in Valiyashala.”
On his demise, many South Indian celebrities shared their grief through their social media accounts.
