Raktim Thakuria was born on Tuesday, 8 February 2000 (age 21 years; as of 2021), and hails from Guwahati, Assam. Their zodiac sign is Aquarius. He did his schooling from Don Bosco High School, Guwahati.

From 2017-2020, he pursued Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Political Science from Sri Aurobindo College, University of Delhi, New Delhi. Thakuria was an avid dancer since childhood and used to participate in various dance competitions in his school growing up.

Collaboratively, Thakuria has produced several dance choreography videos with the dance group ‘The A-Team Kolkata’, which have been uploaded on The A-Team’s YouTube channel.

In 2019, he appeared as a contestant on the reality TV dance competition show ‘Dance Plus 5’ as a member of the dance group The Ace, qualifying to be among the top 10 in the show.

- Apart from dancing, Thakuria is also fond of rapping and beatboxing. In a student short film titled ‘Crazy B- Story of a Rapper’ (2018), Thakuria was featured as a crazy rapper. The film was shot by a student named Manasakam Kakati as a part of his college project.
