Raju Punjabi (1982–2023) was an Indian singer who mostly sang pop and folk Haryanvi songs. She sang many hit Haryanvi songs like ‘Desi Desi Na Bolya Kar,’ ‘Solid Body,’ ‘Sandal,’ and ‘Aacha Laage Se.’ He died on 22 August 2023 after suffering from jaundice.

Raju Punjabi used to sing Punjabi songs in the early stages of his career. However, later he started singing Haryanvi songs and gained immense popularity. In an interview, he told that his first song on DJ was ‘Yaar Dobara Nahi Milne’, which was released in 2013.
He gained immense popularity with the Haryanvi song ‘Solid Body’, in which he worked with Sapna Choudhary. He worked with Sapna Chaudhary on many other Haryanvi songs including ‘Sweety’ (2016), ‘Laad Piya Ke’ (2017), ‘Tu Cheez Lajwaab’ (2018), ‘Teri Hawa Kasuti Se’ (2020) and ‘Jalebi’. Did. (2020).

In September 2022, he released the Haryanvi song ‘Golu Molu’ which featured his younger daughter Nobita.

In 2023, he sang songs for the Haryanvi web series ‘Chaudhar’. His last song ‘Aapse Milke Humko Achcha Laga’ was released on 12 August 2023. This is a Punjabi song.

Apart from pop and folk songs, she also sang various devotional songs dedicated to Lord Shiva like ‘Mahadev Moh Liya,’ ‘Bhole Teri Nagari Meh,’ ‘Bam Bam Bol,’ and ‘Bhole Baba.’ In 2019, he appeared as a guest on the Punjabi talk show ‘Khorupanti News with Lakha’ broadcast on the channel Balle Balle TV.

Death
Raju Punjabi died on 22 August 2023 at a private hospital in Hisar after suffering from jaundice. He was hospitalized for 10 days. It is being told that he was discharged from the hospital after his health improved during treatment. However, later his health deteriorated and he was again admitted to the hospital. His last rites were performed in his native village Rawatsar, Hanumangarh, Rajasthan.
