In 2023, Rahul Pandia attracted media attention when his ex-girlfriend and television actress Aishwarya Sharma participated in the reality show Bigg Boss Season 17 with her husband Neil Bhatt. During an interview with a leading media portal, Rahul revealed that they were in a long-term relationship that lasted for more than seven years. He also shared some information and some pictures about his relationship. Rahul and Aishwarya first met during the Dance India dance audition in 2011 when he was a choreographer. Rahul Pandiya said,
Aishwarya and I were pursuing different courses in the same college here in Ujjain. There was an inter-college competition and along with being a gym trainer, I also used to do choreography. In fact, I have also auditioned for Dance India Dance and cracked it.” We met during this competition and our love story started in 2011 and continued till 2017.

Even though his father found out about us, we still remained strong. She came to Mumbai between 2014 and 2015. But before that, to create distance between us, her father sent her to her sister who lived in Pune. He started his studies in Pune to pursue banking. He called me a year before the wedding and asked me what I was doing and how I was. We were adamant and I understood that she needed time. I was shocked to hear that she has moved on. I have come out of a very bad phase, where I felt betrayed and sometimes even contemplated suicide. I don’t want anything bad for her, I’m that kind of lover.
