Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is a Pakistani singer. He is the son of Farooq Fateh Ali Khan and nephew of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He is mainly known for his Qawwali and Sufi singing.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was born on 9 December 1973 (age 45 years; as in 2018) in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. Their zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He belongs to a family of classical singers with a 600-year-old heritage. Growing up in a family with a musical background, Rahat became interested in music at an early age. At the age of 7, he started taking music lessons from his uncle, “Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan” and often accompanied him on his musical tours. Ali gave his first public performance at the age of 9 on the death anniversary of his grandfather Fateh Ali Khan. By 1985, he was an integral part of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s qawwali group and toured the United Kingdom with his uncle.
