Ragini Nayak was born on 21 September 1982 (age 36 years; as in 2018) in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India. He did his schooling from New Era Public School, Mayapuri, New Delhi, India. In addition, he did BA Honors in English Language and Literature and MA in English from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. He did LLB from Campus Law Centre, Delhi University. He had a keen interest in politics since his college days. With his knowledge of preparing and conducting election campaigns, he encouraged students to participate in the electoral process. In 2018, she represents the Indian National Congress party.

When she was pursuing her graduation in Delhi University, she chose student politics to start her political career. She was an activist for matters of political concern and actively participated in matters of political concern in Delhi University. In 2005, Nayak became the President of Delhi University Students’ Union. He was also elected National General Secretary of NSUI. In 2012, Ragini Nayak was an Assistant Professor of English at Lakshmi Bai College, Delhi University. Nayak was praised for his excellent communication skills across the media and in 2014, he was appointed as the spokesperson of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee. He is often invited for debates and panel discussions by various news channels. In 2015, she was among the top 10 members of the panel that was appointed for the revival of the Indian National Congress during the Delhi Legislative Assembly elections. In 2017, Ragini was a part of a famous comedy show Lapete Main Neta Ji aired on News 18.
