Rachel Brosnahan says that working with her husband at The wonderful Mrs. Maisel It was fun!
The 32-year-old actress met Jason Ralph in 2015 and they married in 2016.
In the final season of the show, Jason plays Mike Carr.

Rachel revealed that it was Mrs Maisel creator Amy Sherman Palladino’s idea for him to be a part of the final season.
“Amy’s always loved Jason, and…she said she didn’t know how important he was going to be last season, and she ended up [being] two episodes. And then he decided to write eight or nine episodes this season. So he felt really organic,” Rachel said. Eastern Time.
“It was a lot of fun,” she said of working with her husband. “Jason has been helping me learn lines for the show ever since I auditioned, I think, for that. And he was working on her show in Vancouver. [The Magicians] when we started working on this. And so it felt like a full circle…especially so I could see what I’ve been doing all day. Well, I haven’t been home 14 hours a day for the last six years, but it was a lot of fun.”
Rachel won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series in 2018 for her work on the show.
Rachel shared how difficult it was to finish filming. “It was definitely emotional. We have simply loved working together. It shouldn’t be a very rare experience, but sadly I think it is. We just love each other,” she said.
Her co-star, Alex Borstein, played Susie Myerson from the start. “Alex and I couldn’t look at each other for the last day,” Rachel said. “She surprised me, she was just as bad as me, maybe worse. We rehearsed our final scene together, and I was looking at her forehead and she was looking at my mouth, so we didn’t have to look at each other until we started filming because we weren’t going to make it.”
Rachel and Jason attended the Marvelous Mile Takeover in New York City with their co-star Michael Zegen.
