Tom Parker Bowles opens up about Queen Camilla.
The 48-year-old eldest son of the 75-year-old royal opened up about his mother’s relationship with King Charles in a new interview.
Tom is the son of Queen Camilla and her ex-husband, Andrew Parker Bowles.
“I don’t care what anyone says. This wasn’t any kind of ending,” he said on The News Agents podcast.
“He married the person he loved and this is what happened.”
Camilla and Charles met in 1970. Charles later admitted in a 1994 interview that he was faithful to the late Princess Diana “until it became clear that the marriage had broken down irretrievably.” And two years later, he officially divorced Diana.
He was also asked if there is any “panic” around attending the coronation of Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, to which he responded: “That has nothing to do with me at all.”
