Rap superstar Quavo was at one time part of one of the biggest rap groups, the Migos. But the group has since broken up. And Quavo is starting to make his way as a solo artist.
Recently, Quavo has been training with singer Chris Brown. The two have traded blows on several songs over the past few weeks.
“Video from Quavo’s concert in Bridgeport, Connecticut is floating around social media…apparently showing a nearly empty venue that looks more like a concert by a small-time artist than a former member of Migos,” TMZ wrote.
“Quavo had a recent concert in Connecticut. And the place is pretty empty. “Some people believe Chris Brown bought seats so fans couldn’t show up and support.”

Quavo gets honest about Takeoff’s death
The Migos disbanded following the murder of group member Takeoff in November 2022. The rap star was murdered following an altercation at a bowling alley. All members of the group were close, but Takeoff and Quavo had a special bond as a nephew and uncle. Following the death of his nephew, Quavo said he sometimes still “cries himself to sleep.”
“I miss him so much and I love him,” Quavo said. “He knows that he loved him. That’s what we always know. So when you see me and see me smiling or something, you should never think that I forgot about him or that I will forget about him. I think about him all the time. Sometimes I cry until I fall asleep. And that is. I just know that he is here. If I can’t feel him, I just know he is near.”
Rap star ‘boosted’ by ‘Migos’ member’s death
Quavo’s latest album, Rocket Power, which was released last August, is a nod to his late nephew. Takeoff often referred to himself as “Rocket” and even released a solo album titled “The Last Rocket.” Quavo says that although the Migos are no longer together, it is Takeoff who pushes him to continue making music.
“Just being driven by my brother, Take, and just bottling up all these emotions, all the pain, all the hard times, all the times I cried and all the times I made music only to get up and try to play songs and he’s not there.” ”he added.
“I’m just trying to get this fuel from above and this fuel from the sky and call it ‘rocket power.'”
