Prince Harry kicks off the 2023 Invictus Games!
The Duke of Sussex, 38, was seen arriving in Düsseldorf, Germany, on Saturday (September 9) ahead of the games’ opening ceremony.
Accompanied by Mayor Stephan Keller outside Düsseldorf City Hall, Prince Harry smiled and waved to the spectators.
The Invictus Games are an international sporting event for wounded and ill veterans and military personnel.
Prince Harry, who served in the British Royal Army for 10 years, founded the Invictus Games in 2014 as a way to help rehabilitate wounded veterans. He was inspired by the Warrior Games held in the United States.
In other news, Prince Harry recently marked the one-year anniversary of the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
