Prime Video confirms that ‘A League of Their Own’ will still end with four final episodes

Prime Video has delivered the official announcement and verdict on the future of his own league.

The streaming service previously revealed that the show would return with just four episodes in a very short final season.

They also just confirmed that this is the final decision on the series.

Through THRPrime previously announced in March that the next four episodes would be billed as the second and final season, and turned the show into a limited series.

In a new report, also from the hollywood reporterPrime Video confirmed it.

“We are deeply proud of the work that Abbi [Jacobson]Willpower [Graham]The cast and crew have reinvented his own league who has produced an incredibly loyal fan base and has achieved numerous well-deserved accolades and accolades,” Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon and MGM Studios, said in a statement, citing fan support and outrage at only getting one four episode renewal.

He then added that “after hearing what Abbi, Will and the writing team have planned for the new story within this wonderful series, we are excited for our fans to see what comes next.”

THR says there were “months of negotiations with Sony Pictures Television” and “the cast and creative had to sign new deals for the shorter duration.”
