About Preston Foster
Preston Foster, a news writer for Screen Rant, followed his love of cinema when he took his first acting lessons at the age of 5. After growing up on stage and in front of cameras, Preston earned a BA in Rhetoric and Writing from the University of Texas at Austin and decided to return to the world of film as an entertainment reporter. Preston began his career at Backstage before joining Screen Rant in the summer of 2022 after completing a master’s degree in journalism at Fordham University. He spends most of the year waiting for Oscar season and the works of Quentin Tarantino, David Fincher and Christopher Nolan. When he’s not watching or writing about movies, Preston will listen to music (The National, Lana Del Rey and Radiohead are his favorites), watch Broadway shows, or escape the city for a long hike.
