Pradeep Uppur (1958–2023) was an Indian film producer, best known for co-founding the television production company Fireworks Productions, which produced the police procedural TV series CID from 1998 to 2018. He died on 13 March 2023 due to cancer.

Death
He died on 13 March 2023 after suffering from cancer in Singapore, where he was undergoing treatment. After his demise, CID actor Shivaji Satam mourned his demise on social media and wrote,
Pradeep Uppur, (Producer, Pillars of CID)…..an ever smiling dear friend, honest and forthright, extremely generous…a long and wonderful chapter of my life ended with your departure boss…love you more Miss you friend.”
Facts/General Knowledge
- In 2017, he had lodged an FIR in Juhu police station regarding the robbery of Rs. Rs 12 lakh from his house. He came to know about the incident when his wife was checking the cupboard and found that cash and jewelery were missing from their house. Talking about the FIR, a source said in an interview,
The complaint was received on Friday night when the complainant noticed that the shelves of the flat were open. When he got suspicious, he checked his belongings and found that cash and jewelery had been stolen. Police were told that Rs 9 lakh in cash was missing from the house and jewelery worth more than Rs 3 lakh was also missing. We are scanning the CCTV footage of the premises to find clues regarding the incident.
