Early life and childhood
Pop Smoke was born on July 20, 1999, and his age was 20 years when he died 19 February 2020.
His birth name is Bashar Barakah Jackson and his zodiac sign is Cancer. Also, his birthplace was Brooklyn, New York.

Death
In 19 February 2020Pop Smoke was renting a home owned by Teddi Mellencamp and her husband, Edwin Arroyave.
It was in Hollywood Hills, California. At around 4:30 am, four hooded men broke into the house and shot him twice in the chest.
One of them was wearing a ski mask and carrying a gun.
Someone from the East Coast called the Los Angeles Police Department and shared the news of the home invasion. Police arrived at the house six minutes after the call. They found the young rapper with multiple gunshot wounds.
The injured young rapper was immediately taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. There, doctors performed a thoracotomy on the left side of the late rapper’s chest.
A few hours later, he was pronounced dead at the age of 20. Later on February 21, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner revealed that HI’s cause of death was a gunshot wound to the torso.
Investigators believed the house was the subject of home invasions following a series of burglaries that took place in homes rented by musicians.
The LAPD initially considered the rapper’s death to be gang-related. They suspected/considered this because he was linked to the Crips.
However, the Los Angeles police later believed that the rapper’s death was the result of a home burglary gone wrong. Furthermore, he was dating Alyssa Danielle, aka Yummy Yellow, at the time of her passing.
