Hyper Training is a post-match feature Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Allows Trainers to increase Pokemon’s IVs. This mechanic allows players to customize their favorite Pokémon and further enhance their stats to improve combat performance. For example, if a trainer has a Baxcalibur with a naturally high Attack IV and wants to increase this IV to the maximum, they can do so through Hypertraining. As a result, Baxcalibur and other highly trained pocket monsters will become even more powerful to take on challenging Tera Raid opponents post-match at the highest level.
Before Trainers Consider Super Training Their Pokémon Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the rating function must be unlocked first. For those unfamiliar, the Judgment feature allows players to see hidden personal values in their Pokemon. With this ability, players can see every detail of their favorite Pokémon’s stats to make the right decisions about which IVs should be super trained. To unlock this mechanic, the trainer must complete all the main quests in the game; in other words, it is imperative to access the content after the game.
How does Super Training work in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Upon completing this feat, Pokécenter staff in any location will recognize the Trainer Protagonist’s Hall of Fame badge and reward them Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Having this ability, the next step is to understand where the hyper training takes place. According to the RageGamingVideos YouTube channel, an unnamed NPC can be found behind the Pokécenter in Montenevera in North Paldea. The trainer can recognize this NPC by his humming voice, large shadow, bomber jacket, and his pet Abomasnow. Talking to this Gen 9 character will trigger a prompt to start Hypertraining, allowing the player to choose the IV they want to add to their pocket monster.
Of course, Hyper Training is not free Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Coach Abomasnow in Montenevera claims a coin called the Bottle Cap, which comes in two forms. Regular Hats can be used to increase a Pokémon’s IV, while Yellow Hats can be used to increase all Pokémon’s IVs during a Super Training session. Bottle caps can be purchased from Delibird Gifts after the game or sometimes in premium Tera Raids. Gold bottle caps can also be obtained from advanced raids, but have a much lower drop rate.
