Pharrell Williams has just presented his first collection as the new creative designer of Louis Vuitton‘s men’s collection.
The 50-year-old artist walked the runway in a camouflage outfit at the end of the show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday (June 20) in Paris, France.
Pharrell became the male creative director earlier this year following the passing of previous creative director Virgil Abloh in November 2022. After signing his contract with BT in February he moved with his family to Paris.
“Listen, I miss my home in Miami,” he told the New York Times. And my house in Virginia. I really do. But right now, Paris is the center of the earth for me.”
Pharrell says that he is using his customer perspective to design the collection. He said: “I am a creative designer from a consumer perspective. I didn’t go to Central Saint Martins. But I definitely went to the stores and bought, and I know what I like.”
