Pete Davidson’s mother, Amy Waters Davidson, pays tribute to her late husband on Instagram.
The comedian’s father, Scott Davidson, was a firefighter who tragically died on September 11, 2001 during the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York City.
On Monday (September 11), Amy posted a tribute to Pete’s dad with throwback photos and a touching caption.

“Happiest days of my life and I didn’t know it,” Amy wrote in her post remembering Scott. She urged, “Never forget and always be grateful.”
She shared several old photos of Scott, including one of him hugging her, little Pete trying on his dad’s firefighter gear with Scott, and more adorable snaps of Scott and their kids.
Pete hasn’t had it very easy lately. In July, he was assigned 50 hours of community service following a reckless driving charge. He also split from his girlfriend of eight months, Chase Sui Wonders, in August.
