After earning a bachelor’s degree in education, Parshottam Rupala started working as a school principal at the Municipal Girls High School in Hamapur, Gujarat from 1977 to 1983. Parshottam Rupala worked as the Chief Officer of Amreli Municipality from 1983 to 1987. He was elected President of Bharatiya Janata Party in Amreli district from 1988 to 1991. In 1992 he took charge as the Secretary of Amreli District. Parshottam Rupala served as Cabinet Minister on Narmada River from 19 March 1995 to 20 October 1995, handling projects related to irrigation and water supply in Gujarat. He was again elected to the same post from 4 November 1995 to 18 September 1996. Parshottam Rupala was elected as the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly, and served in the post from March 1997 to December 1997. Parshottam was elected as the Chairman of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC), and served in this position. Seat from June 1998 to October 2001. In Amreli district, he served as president of a youth hostel from 2002 to 2004. Parshottam Rupala also led Madad Trust, Kadva Patidar and Gujarat Electricity Board Union.
