Kylo Ren gives him more credit than fans
One of Rebellion’s best pilots, Luke has proven himself time and time again using the Force. However, that doesn’t mean he’s immune to the typical human flaws that Emperor Palpatine can – and does – exploit. The comic shows the dilemma Luke faces – trying to make him heard and appreciated by the Rebels in a time of extreme danger. He is suspicious of his companions, and the Emperor tries to seduce him with visions of an alternate future in which he can help others at will without having to obey anyone’s orders or even fight the Empire again. It was an idyllic and peaceful life. Although genuinely tempted, Luke was able to call for help from his superiors and escape this psychic attack, but Kylo Ren was not so lucky.
While Palpatine can masquerade as Supreme Leader Snoke, that doesn’t mean he’s any less effective at attracting young people to his goals. Luke and Kylo Ren are the same age in important events Star Wars universe. He was about seventeen or eighteen when Kylo destroyed Luke’s training academy. Likewise, Luke is about 19 Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope…which means that Palpatine may have had an opportunity to target them during his prime influence. This comic shows that even from such a distance, the Emperor can sense Luke’s hesitation and doubt. Given his ability to target Luke, it is likely that he will also be able to influence and influence Kylo in a similar way.
Based on his lineage and potential, it’s possible that Ben Solo was very attuned to the light side of the Force from an early age. It’s a testament to his attraction and psychic power to the light side that it took him a long time to partially subdue the dark side without completely falling. Kylo Ren may have been a villain, but he betrayed his master, and if Luke Skywalker’s experience is anything to go by, he may have to endure Emperor Palpatine more than the rest of the world. What fans have noted for him is based on the movie Alone.
