“I said, ‘How long do you want me to live?!’ At best, I have ten years left and when you’re older, time speeds up. Sharon and I recently celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary, and that is just amazing to me! he continued.
Osbourne was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2003 and did not reveal her diagnosis until 2020. She also suffered a fall in 2019 and underwent multiple surgeries in an attempt to repair damage to her spine. As reported by Too FabThe fall only exacerbated his existing back and neck problems from a bicycle accident in 2003.
According to Osbourne, his second spinal surgery did not go as planned, leaving him “crippled.” Then, during another procedure, his doctors found a tumor.
“This really hit me,” Osbourne confessed. “The second surgery went drastically wrong and left me practically crippled. I thought I’d be up and running after the second and third, but with the last one they put a damn rod in my spine. They found a tumor in one of the vertebrae, so they had to remove the whole thing too. “It’s pretty tough, man, and my balance is screwed.”
Osbourne wants to return to acting, even with ongoing health problems
Despite Osbourne’s Parkinson’s diagnosis, she hasn’t given up hope of being able to perform again. Even if he can’t perform regularly, he just wants to be “well enough” to do one more show because his fans have been “loyal to me for damn years.”
“If I can’t keep doing shows on a regular basis, I just want to be well enough to do a show where I can say, ‘Hey guys, thank you so much for my life,’” he explained. “That’s what I’m working for, and if I end up dropping dead, I’ll die a happy man.”
