Ozzy Osbourne comments on T-Pain’s ‘War Pigs’ cover

Giving credit where credit is due, Ozzy Osbourne praises T-Pain’s epic cover of Black Sabbath’s hit song War Pigs.

On Wednesday, January 10, Osbourne took to X (formerly Twitter) to celebrate T-Pain’s performance in December 2023. β€œThis is the best cover of War Pigs ever,” he wrote. “Why didn’t they call me?”

T-Pain also reposted Osbourne’s comment, writing, “The first thing I said was ‘wow.’ This is a time and the greatest form of validation. Thank you, brother Ozzy Osbourne.”

Meanwhile, Ozzy Osbourne recently announced that he has undergone seven surgeries in five years. He spoke to his wife Sharon and his children Jack and Kelly about his health problems during a recent episode of The Osbournes podcast.

β€œI don’t see as many doctors anymore,” he explained. “Now I have Parkinson’s [disease], I have to see the Parkinson’s doctor. But I’m not going to have surgery.”

Also speaking about his latest surgery, which took place in September 2023, Ozzy Osbourne shared: β€œWhen I came out of surgery, I told Sharon, ‘Whatever I’m going to do now, that’s it. I can’t have any more surgery.’ I had seven surgeries in five years.”

Osbourne further noted that she has been dealing with a slow recovery. β€œI’m not as young as I used to be, so recovery [from] anything [takes longer].”

Regarding any stage concerts for 2024, Ozzy Osbourne added: “I will do my best to recover enough to do some concerts.”
