Out of touch? Whoopi Goldberg says Millennials and Generation Z “only want to work 4 hours” a day

Whoopi Goldberg is the latest celebrity to call out Millennials and Gen-Z’ers who are struggling financially.

Goldberg, as reported by us weekly, explained: “Sorry, listen, every generation comes and wants to do better than their parents. But I’m sorry, if you only want to work four hours, it will be harder to get a house.”

Goldberg, 67, made the comment during a Hot Topics discussion about millennials’ views on the American dream and their ability to buy property and raise families.

Alyssa Farah Griffin rejected Goldberg’s views, saying her co-host’s generation, the baby boomers, caused the housing crisis. Still, Goldberg didn’t waver in his seemingly out-of-touch perspective on younger generations.

“Every generation is told, ‘You will do worse than your parents,’” he said. “You know what? People learn it, do what they do and get up. This is what you have to do. That’s called being a good citizen.”
