Ethan and the haunted room experience (fiction)
Can each experience be explained? Not really.
This is similar to what happened to Ethan last Friday. Ethan hates his boss for making him work late, and Friday is one of those hateful days. At 11:23, Ethan finally turned off his laptop, kicked the toxic office chair because no one was looking, and walked out of the building with a lot of regret and fatigue in his eyes. He’s not in the mood to drive, but coming of age is inevitable. He started the car and started driving. Everything seemed to be normal unless he suddenly wanted to drink water. He reached for one hand while driving to find his water bottle in his office bag, only to realize that his desire to leave the office had caused him to leave the water bottle at his desk. Bored with work, daily troubles and bad luck, he stopped the car for a moment. He closed the car window with a loud scream of anger and frustration. The scream increased his thirst. Did we tell you that the driving distance between his house and work is about 2 hours? He rested his head against the door for a minute or so just thinking about what to do next.
After recalling his bravery, he decided to find a store where he could buy a bottle of water. WORST judgment.
It is true that it would be difficult to drive for 2 hours feeling thirsty, but if you ask him today, he will regret asking for water. Now that Ethan is convinced he won’t be able to get home unless a few drops of water quench his thirst, he’s changed his course to an unfamiliar highway, expecting a store to open. door 24 hours. Halfway there, he picked up his phone to check the time, only to find that both the person was tired and the phone needed charging. However, Ethan seems to believe that his luck has been poor and that nothing could be worse than working in a toxic office environment. Little does he know that what he’s about to go through will make his toxic work culture feel like heaven on earth.
He was in the middle of the highway when he managed to look sideways for a moment. Next to it is a river, which looks red. RED BLOOD RIVER!
For a moment, Ethan’s hand trembled at the prospect. However, he managed to control the car and thought in his mind that the lights on the riverbank could be the cause of the river’s red color.
A little fear and desire for a drink made him drive faster, only to find that there were no lights on the road ahead and no settlements in sight. It was completely dark, and the light emanating from the vehicle was like the entry of a living spirit into a dark, ghostly, empty world.

What happens to thirst when the body begins to roll with fear on the forehead and cheeks? Well, thirst increases and the body starts to lose water. Ethan slowed the car and eventually stopped in the middle of the road. Deciding to get a water bottle is not the right decision. However, he needed an extra minute of rest. He turned off the car lights for a moment and thought about dozing off. He closes his eyes for one second and opens them the next. He took four to five deep breaths, and on his sixth breath, he felt a vague white figure cross the road in front of the car. He looked to his left but couldn’t find a single clue about it. Positive thinking seems impossible at 1 a.m. when you’re stuck on a dark path with a dry throat.
Crisis always fuels our body. His body going into fight and flight mode causes Ethan to turn on his car’s headlights from low to high and drive at an inexplicable speed. He drove as fast as he could and went too far.
Cars do not understand fear and emergencies. The car stopped at a place where there was no hope of light, flatness or water. Damn, this was a really bad night for Ethan. He got out of the car in search of hope. ANOTHER GREAT DECISION!
The last moment he accepted his fate and the fact that there would be no help for him at this hour. As soon as he got back to the car and closed the door, he heard the sound of not one but two doors at once. He felt his head freeze with fear. He mustered the last bit of courage to turn back. When he turned around, he saw a strong wind blowing in his face, but no one was in the car. Now, not only the road or the night, but his car itself felt like it was suffocating him. For a moment, he cursed himself for leaving his water bottle in the office, but it was all as if it were fate.
Now, the only option left for him is to drive and find a way out. He is driving, but he is very afraid of unknown passengers. To make matters worse, another strange incident occurred. The tires could no longer withstand the long journey on rough roads, or maybe they conspired with the man to make him fall into a trap. Well, the car suddenly stopped at an unknown place. Now, all the man wants is a savior. The tires on the car had not yet left, and there were still passengers in the car, he couldn’t help but get off the car. After getting out of the car, Ethan, an atheist, suddenly begins to believe in God. Critical situations never succeed in bringing humanity closer to spirituality!
Now, after repeating a few prayers in his head, the man opened his eyes in the hope of finding a glimmer of help.
Suddenly he saw a strange hut in the distance.

The design of the cabin showed no sign of a modern construction, but at the moment Ethan couldn’t think of an exterior design. He picked up the dead phone and all his essentials in the cabin. He didn’t know if the hut was a safe place to seek help, but the mere fact that the hut was once built by a living human was enough to keep him loyal. He ran as fast as he could to the hut. If he were at home now, he would suddenly drink a liter of water. However, he could only swallow at this moment.
Panting, he tried knocking on the door, hoping that the man would answer. However, the door opened automatically from the inside with a creak, as if the chalet was waiting for him to arrive. No, this is not a safe place to enter.
That logic hit him hard, and Ethan took a step back. At this point any sane person would think about getting back in the car and that’s what Ethan intended to do, but maybe fate had other plans. Before he could get back to his car, he saw an automatic car coming towards him, slowly and steadily. Yes, there is definitely a passenger in the car with him.
Seeing his car slowly approaching him, Ethan rushed into the house without thinking twice. Sam locked the door from the inside, leaned against the door, and closed his eyes. At this moment, he did not want to open his eyes, but after 2 minutes of intense fear, he did not have the courage to open them.
He is in a dark room. To his right, he finds something that can frighten anyone. A small water bottle was next to his right leg. Ethan was always the brave kid at school and perhaps it was that bravery that made him bend down to pick up the bottle. The bottle cap carries the brand name of clean drinking water, but once on Earth, the brand started selling blood-red water packaged in water bottles. All that was not enough with the unknown forces surrounding Ethan, it was a small piece of paper that flew up and lightly kissed his right shoe. With trembling hands he lifted the paper on which the most terrible words were written…
“The water you are looking for or maybe the water you will soon need…”
The next morning, the doctors explained that Ethan’s unconsciousness was caused by dehydration or stress, but only Ethan and the darkness knew.
