Olivia Rodrigo spoke in a new conversation with Phoebe Bridgers for Interview magazine.
The 20-year-old “vampire” hitmaker recalled her hit single “drivers License,” a pandemic-era breakup ballad that dominated and transformed the High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star in a familiar name.
It also had the side effect of shining a spotlight on her relationship with her ex Joshua Bassett and her relationship with Sabrina Carpenter while fans and critics tried to parse the various lyrics.
With her second album on the horizon, Olivia revealed what she had learned from the song’s success and the subsequent fallout.
He also revealed a lyric from his new album that generated some rejection from listeners. Olivia even talked about her favorite vampire movie. In the process, she revealed a characteristic she is attracted to in a man!
