Qazi Nurul Hasan Sohan was born on Sunday, 21 November 1993 (age 29 years; as of 2022) in Maheshwarpara, Khulna, Bangladesh. Their zodiac sign is Scorpio. He studied at Government Majid Memorial City College and Khulna Northern University. He played cricket at the domestic level for several years before making his national team debut at the age of 23.

In the same Test match, he became the first Bangladeshi wicketkeeper to stump 3 batsmen in an innings and a match.

Verbal altercation with Thisara Perera at the 2018 Nidahas Tri-Series
During the final over of the match against Sri Lanka in the 2018 Nidahas Tri-Series, Nurul Hasan was a reserve player, and was sent onto the field to deliver a message to the batsman. He had a heated exchange with Sri Lankan captain Thisara Perera and pointed fingers at him. He was fined 25 percent of his match fee and given one demerit point for a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct. Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan was also fined 25 percent of his match fee along with one demerit point. The ICC released a statement regarding the incident,
Shakib was found guilty of breaching Article 2.1.1 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which deals with conduct contrary to the spirit of the game, while Nurul was found guilty of breaching Article 2.1.2 . Which relates to conduct that brings the game into disrepute.”
Virat Kohli accused of fake fielding in ICC T20 World Cup 2022
He had accused Indian cricketer Virat Kohli of fake fielding in the match against India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. Bangladesh lost the match by 5 runs and he said that the umpires should have penalized India by 5 runs and given them 5 runs. He talked about this in the press session after the match and said,
“Obviously, the field was wet and it had an impact and everyone saw it and ultimately, what I realized was when we were talking there was a fake throw and it could have been a five-run penalty and it Could have gone in our favor.” , but unfortunately he also did not come.”
