Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty will not leave his house soon after being placed under house arrest.
According The Hollywood ReporterThe sentence was handed down after he publicly sent threats to rapper Offset, who is married to Cardi B, on X (formerly Twitter).

The outlet reports that Kenneth had shared video clips online just a few days ago, on September 16, where he is seen with some of his friends outside of New York City, where Offset was presumably staying.
In one clip, he is heard saying: “Plan that vacation, you’ll be planning your funeral!”
However, Offset doesn’t seem to feel all that threatened by the videos, as he responded in one: “I’m getting off a jet, it’s funny.”
In the court order, filed Wednesday (September 20) in California, Kenneth is ordered to house arrest after he “was recorded on video making threatening comments to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.”
Kenneth was previously convicted of failing to register as a sex offender in 2021 and, in 2022, was sentenced to probation for it.
Nicki and Cardi, the wives of the two in the center, had a highly publicized fight a couple of years ago.
