Nicki Minaj is making an exciting announcement.
On Monday (June 5), the 40-year-old artist took to Twitter to reveal the release date for her fifth album.
This will mark Nicki’s first album in five years, with her last full-length album coming in 2018. Queen.

Fans shared their excitement in responses to her tweet. “The most anticipated female rap album of all time! After 5 long years!!!” an user wrotewhile another add: “OMGGG NICKI ANNOUNCED THE RELEASE DATE OF HIS ALBUM 😳 #NM5 IS COMING”
While Nicki hasn’t released an official album in a while, she has been steadily releasing music. In 2021 she released the official streaming release of her 2009 mixtape. Beam Me Up Scottywhich featured a new song with Drake and Lil Wayne titled “Seeing Green.”
He’s also released several new songs this year, including the Ice Spice collaboration “Princess Diana” and his song with Kim Petras “Alone.” Check out the music video for “Alone” here!
