After his brilliant undergraduate career, he was selected by the Washington Wizards as the 16th pick in the NBA, where he played from 2007 to 2012. He set a career high with 43 points against the ‘Sacramento Kings’ in 2011.
Furthermore, he signed with the Los Angeles Lakers from 2013 to 2017, before spending a year with the Los Angeles Clippers and the Philadelphia 76ers. He later joined the Golden State Warriors in 2017 and helped them win the NBA title in 2018. He was then traded to the Denver Nuggets in 2018.
