Nathan Templeton, an Australian news anchor, was found dead near the Barwon River in Geelong, Australia, on Tuesday. He was only 44 years old.
Professionals do not believe his death is suspicious. Rather, she experienced a medical episode while walking his dog.
According to the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, “Templeton spent a quarter of a century in the media, with her first major on-air role in Ten news in Melbourne from 2004.”
“In 2012, it became channel seven, where she covered several Olympic and Commonwealth Games, as well as tennis and the AFL,” the news corporation continued. “In particular, he became known for his work as a poolside reporter, speaking to Australian swimmers before and after races. Templeton also spent six years as a Melbourne correspondent for the Sunrise breakfast program.”

On Wednesday, his family issued a statement. “Our hearts are broken for an adoring father and wonderful friend, who will be missed by many,” they wrote.
Many people in the community are devastated by Templeton’s passing. They shared their condolences online.
For example, Ian Chesterman, president of the Australian Olympic Committee, posted this heartfelt message: “[Nathan] “I loved their participation in the Olympic Games and working with our sports and Olympic athletes in many events and activities,” he wrote.
“Nathan was always a friendly, knowledgeable and totally fair face. “Many in the Olympic family will be very sad because Nathan was one of the really good people we worked with who really cared about our athletes.”
Besides, Sunrise shared a statement on their Facebook: “The tragic news of Nathan’s passing has left us all at Sunrise and Seven deeply saddened.”
“Nathan was a respected journalist whose passion for storytelling was evident in all his years reporting for Sunrise and various Olympic Games. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, his loved ones, and especially his two young children, during this difficult time.”
Nathan left behind his wife and two young children.
