In the show, Monkey D. Luffy is a young adventurer who has longed for a life of freedom for as long as he can remember. And now the alleged budget spent on the adaptation has been revealed.

In a report from Netflixwoche (Netflix’s German website, via GQ), the budget for One piece It was around $17.27 million per episode. There are eight episodes of One piece Season 1, which would bring the total budget to about $138 million.
To compare with equally expensive productions, game of Thrones It reportedly cost around $14.79 million per episode.
