- In 2021, a road accident occurred on Gulshan Avenue, injuring five people, including Nazifa Tushi. Others injured in the accident were actors Shariful Islam Raj, Khairul Bashar and Junaid Bogdadi as well as Raj’s friend Nafeez Mohammad Ismail. All of them were immediately taken to the Joint Hospital for treatment. The condition of Tushi, Raj and Bashar, who gained attention for their film “Networker Bare”, is said to be stable and is being treated in the hospital cabin under the supervision of orthopedic specialist Dr Rezaul Karim. On the other hand, Junaid and Nafeez were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under the care of Professor SS Ahmed as they are believed to have suffered head injuries. According to OC Abul Hasan of Gulshan police station, the accident occurred when the speeding car collided with an electric pole, due to which the front part of the car was badly damaged. Initial assessment revealed that the accident was the result of careless driving.

- In 2023, private videos of Bangladeshi actors Nazifa, Tanzin Tisha and Sunerah bint Kamal were leaked on social media. These videos were uploaded on Shariful Raz’s Facebook account. However, the content was removed after an hour. In the leaked video, the actor is seen drunk and speaking gibberish. Sunera Binte Kamal, who was claimed to be the victim, said that her Facebook account was hacked and someone had used her account to share photos and videos.

The tweet said that Tushi has left Islam and adopted Sanatan Dharma and she is not afraid of any religious decision against her. These tweets said things like, “No religious decision can change my mind, Har Har Mahadev,” and “After leaving Islam, I feel blessed in Sanatan Dharma.” One tweet also contained a picture of a woman and a child with a “tilak” mark on their forehead. However, it was later revealed that Nazifa Tushi had not actually converted to Hinduism, and she was not the owner of the Twitter account from which the tweets were posted.
