Nawab Shah, also known as Nawab Shah, was born on 12 October 1972 (age 47 years; as in 2019) in Delhi, India. He went to Mussoorie Modern School and Weinberg Allen School in Uttarakhand. He made his Bollywood debut with the film “Kudrat”, which was released in 1998.
In 1997, he made his television debut with the serial “Shaktimaan”, in which his catchphrase “Andhera Kayam Rahe” became popular among the public. This famous catchphrase is still popular among the people.
Nawab Shah is known for playing negative roles in films and serials. He has worked in many films, television serials and web-series. Apart from this, he has also been actively associated with theatre.

He has a sister, Babita Shah.

Nawab Shah made his television debut with the serial “Shaktimaan”. In 1998, he debuted in Bollywood with the film “Kudrat”. After this he acted in many films and television serials. He acted in the film “Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya”, starring Manisha Koirala and Arvind Swamy in the lead roles.
In 2002, he starred in the Bollywood film “Be-Lagaam”.
However, he came into limelight with the film “Escape from Taliban” released in 2003.
Nawab Shah became a household name after playing the role of ‘Kokodar/Major JJ’ in the television serial “Shaktimaan”. Since then, he has acted in television serials such as “Amma” and “Nagarjuna- Ek Yoddha”.
Nawab has not only worked in Bollywood films like “Parvana,” “Woh,” “Dukaan,” “Lakshya,” “Chehra” but he has also worked in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada films. Nawab Shah played the role of the villain ‘Jabbar’ in the Bollywood film “Don 2” starring Shahrukh Khan.
Shah has also starred in the Netflix web-series “Sacred Games”, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles.
Apart from working in mainstream cinema, Shah also acts in theater plays.
