Monica Crowley is an American columnist, political commentator, foreign affairs analyst, and talk radio personality. Monica Crowley served as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs for the U.S. Department of the Treasury from July 2019 to January 2021.

Early Life

Monica Crowley opened her eyes on the 19th of September 1968, in Fort Huachuca, Arizona, the United States. Her birth name is Monica Elizabeth Crowley and holds American citizenship. According to the astrological chart, she has a birth sign Virgo and is currently 54 years old.

Further, she was a regular column writer for the New York Post. In addition, she has also written for The New Yorker, The Washington Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Los Angeles Times, and The Baltimore Sun.

In the mid-1990s, she was a commentator for National Public Radio’s Morning Edition. She served as a host of The Monica Crowley Show, a nationally syndicated radio show, since 2002 and is a regular contributor to The John Batchelor Show.

Additionally, she started working for Fox News Channel in 1996, where she was a foreign affairs and political analyst and occasionally substituted for Sean Hannity on Fox News Channel’s Hannity.

She co-hosted MSNBC’s Connected: Coast to Coast with Ron Reagan in 2004. The final episode aired on December 9, 2005, after a nine-month run. Crowley has also appeared on Imus in the Morning and hosted the MSNBC show The Best of Imus in the Morning.

Later, she returned to Fox News Channel as a contributor in the year 2007. From late 2007 to 2011, she was also a regular on The McLaughlin Group.

Crowley appeared on Fox News Channel’s late-night talk show Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld on occasion. Moreover, this woman has been a guest host for Bill O’Reilly on The O’Reilly Factor and his subsequent podcast since 2009, and she appeared in a segment called “Barack and a Hard Place” on an episode of The O’Reilly Factor. She began writing letters to former President Richard Nixon, who hired her as a research assistant when she was 22 years old in 1990. Following Nixon’s death, she published two books about him: Nixon Off the Record: His Candid Commentary on People and Politics and Nixon in Winter.

She began working as a part-time consultant for Douglas Schoen in March 2017, providing “outreach services” on behalf of Ukrainian industrialist and political figure Victor Pinchuk. Moreover, this woman was required by the Foreign Agents Registration Act of 1938 to register as a foreign agent.

On July 16, 2019, Trump announced Crowley’s appointment as Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs in the Treasury Department. She replaced Tony Sayegh, who left the position in May, as the top spokeswoman for Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin.

She is defending herself against ‘The New York Times,’ ‘CNN,’ and ‘Politico,’ among others, in an attempt to save herself and her Ph. D from being revoked by Columbia University.
