Mohit Suri is an Indian film director and producer, the son of Mahesh Bhatt’s youngest sister Heena Suri. He is best known for directing the popular Hindi film ‘Aashiqui 2’ (2013).

On January 29, 2013, he married Indian actress Udita Goswami. The two first met on the sets of the Hindi film ‘Zeher’ (2003), which marked Mohit’s debut as a director and Udita as an actor. They became attracted to each other in the very first meeting. They soon became friends and started dating each other in 2005. They later took a break from their relationship, but got back together again. After dating for almost eight years, the couple got married at the ISKCON temple in Juhu, Mumbai.
In 2018, there were rumors that Udita was suspicious about Mohit Suri’s affair with a Bollywood actress. He reportedly extracted her call records with the help of his lawyer. Later, Mohit was interrogated by Thane Police for illegally obtaining his call records and some private detectives were also arrested in the case.
In January 2018, the couple was blessed with a daughter named Devi. In 2019, they had a son named Karma.

Accused of copying movie poster
In 2011, he received criticism for copying the poster of the Hindi film ‘Murder 2’ from the Korean film ‘Anti Christ’. However, when asked about it, he said that there could be some similarities and even the poster of the Korean film could be a copy of some other film.
Fight with Siddharth Bhardwaj
In 2014, Indian VJ and actor Siddharth Bhardwaj accused Mohit of cheating on him. Bhardwaj said that Mohit had offered him a role in the Hindi film ‘Ek Villain’, however, at the last moment Mohit changed the script and changed the cast. On the other hand, when Mohit was asked about this, he said that Bhardwaj lied and behaved unprofessional. In an interview, Bhardwaj said that he also talked to Salman Khan about this incident and Khan also agreed that Mohit did wrong to Bhardwaj.

- At the age of 16, he started working as an office boy for his uncle Mahesh Bhatt. He used to deliver T-Series cassettes to his uncle’s office.
