She did her schooling from Rajpura and went to Punjabi University, Patiala to pursue BA in singing and instrumental skills. Later, he completed MA in Music and then B.Ed in Music. Miss Pooja started her singing career in 2006 with “Jaan To Piyaari”. Next, she sang the song “Paani Hoge Dhunge Johanna Launa Chad Dehana” from the album ‘Pind Da Shingar’. Her third song “Ik Tere Karke” with Preet Brar became a huge hit and made her a household name in the Punjabi music industry. Subsequently, she came up with Bhangra duets like ‘Seeti Marke’ with Geeta Zaildar and ‘Petrol’ with Preet Brar. In 2009, he launched his first solo album “Romantic Jatt”, in which his song “Do Nain” became very popular. By 2009, Pooja gained international recognition and toured many other countries including the US, Canada, Australia and the UK for her concerts. He received the Best International Act award and Best International Album award at the ‘UK Asian Music Awards’ for his Romantic Jatt album. In 2012, she made her Bollywood singing debut by singing the song “Second Hand Jawaani” from the film ‘Cocktail’.
