Michelle Yeoh has taken over the Cannes Film Festival 2023 this weekend!
The recent Oscar winner, 60, walked the red carpet among a few other events at the annual film festival, wearing a gorgeous green dress from balenciagaThe haute couture collection.
After her appearance on the red carpet at smut premiere on Sunday (May 21) in Cannes, France, Michelle was spotted at the Kering Women in Motion Awards 2023alongside his long-time partner, Jean Todt.
During a conversation with Variety At the festival, Michelle talked about her recent Oscar win and revealed the best part about it.
“The best thing that’s happened to me is that I get a script that doesn’t describe the character as a Chinese or Asian-looking person,” he shared. “We are actors. We are supposed to act. We are supposed to take on the roles given to us and do our jobs to the best of our ability. That, for me, is the biggest step forward.”
