He moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut with his family when he was young. His mother was a single parent. His mother is a retired teacher, and his father died shortly after his birth. He grew up in Brooklyn, which is often known as East New York. He graduated from Bridgeport Central High School in 1982. White entered Central High School and graduated in 1985. He began learning martial arts at the age of seven. He started by mastering Jujutsu and then progressed to other methods. After graduating from high school, he continued to study acting at Yale University, Brown University and HB Studio. For his role in Spawn, he was nominated for a Blockbuster Entertainment Award for Best Male Newcomer. In 2001, she starred in the movie Exit Wounds with Steven Seagal.
White appeared in the music video I Know What You Want in 2003. He has also performed as a voice actor in films such as Justice League since 2003.
